Spain in favour of ban on 'below cost selling' to combat unfair trade practices

21/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 21 September, Luis Planas, the Spanish minister for agriculture, fisheries and food, recommended that the ban on below-cost selling should be included in the legislation for combating unfair trading practices (see EUROPE 12099).  Planas put this request to the European Parliament rapporteur on this issue, Paolo de Castro (S&D, Italy).  On Monday 24 September, the EP committee on agriculture will discuss unfair trading practices in the food chain,...
