European Parliament's green light to inter-institutional agreement increasing envelope of structural reform support programme

11/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 September, MEPs supported by a relative majority (489 votes in favour, 170 against and 32 abstentions) the inter-institutional agreement reached in July (see EUROPE 12065) to increase the structural reform support programme.  They thus decided to raise its envelope from €142.8 million to €222.8 million, with the aim of better supporting the structural reforms of member states wanting to join the euro – currently seven (Bulgaria, the...
