30/08/2018 (Agence Europe) – A fourth negotiating meeting is planned for 8 October between the Parliament, Council and Commission on the draft regulation to end geo-blocking for certain radio and television programmes ('SatCab'), according to the European Parliament schedule dated 28 August. It should be pointed out that the draft proposal of barely 7 articles, seeks to promote the cross-border provision of ancillary online services and facilitate the digital retransmission of television and radio emissions from other member states (see EUROPE 11624). So far, three inconclusive trilogues have already taken place. (SPj)
