Theresa May says consequences of 'no-deal' Brexit should not be exaggerated

28/08/2018 (Agence Europe)During her tour in Africa on Tuesday 28 August, British Prime Minister Theresa May said the consequences of a 'no-deal' Brexit with Brussels should not be exaggerated and added that her government was putting in place the necessary preparations to avoid any disastrous scenario.  According to British press, May quoted the director general of the World Trade Organisation, who said that a 'no-deal' Brexit would not be a walk in the park but would not be the end of the world either.  The EU and UK have both published their technical notices to prepare for a 'no-deal' Brexit.  New negotiations with Brussels are due to take place at the end of the week.  (SP)
