Difficult negotiations on renewing EU/Morocco fisheries agreement

13/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 13 July, at the time of going to press, the EU and Morocco were negotiating a partnership agreement on fisheries.  The current protocol expires Saturday 14 July and the Spanish government was envisaging aid for 90 vessels that must pull out of Moroccan waters after expiry of the protocol.  In addition, given the high level conference on small-scale fisheries (Malta, 25 and 26 September), the Council of the EU adopted, on Friday, a decision...
