Hahn in Skopje on Tuesday 17 July to launch screening of EU acquis

On Friday 13 July, European Commissioner for Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn announced he would go to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) on Tuesday 17 July to "launch the technical part of the EU acquis screening".

Hahn warned that this work would take time.  "It involves preparing the 35 (EU accession negotiation) chapters that cover all the accession negotiations. Looking at all the elements takes time.  This must be prepared carefully", he said at the end of the...
