The draft SatCab regulation to end geo-blocking on certain radio and television programmes is back on centre stage after the inter-institutional negotiations were interrupted on 17 April last. The European Commission circulated a number of proposals - which will be on the agenda of the national experts’ meeting on Tuesday 12 June and the meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to the EU (Coreper) on Wednesday 13 June - in an effort to unblock the situation.
