Monday 11 June

Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council. *Energy: - Adoption of the general orientation on the regulation to revise the Agency for the Cooperation of the Energy Regulators (ACER). – State of progress in negotiations on the ‘clean energy’ package (‘governance’ regulation and ‘renewable energies’ and ‘energy efficiency’ directives; - Situation of external relations in the energy sector. – Working programme of the forthcoming Austrian Presidency in the field of energy.

Activities of the committees (to 14/06). – LIBE: vote on the resolution on the effectiveness of the protection offered by the ‘Privacy Shield’ between the EU and the United States and hearing of Commissioner Julian King on the progress report on the ‘Security’ package. – AGRI: examination of three legislative proposals on the reform of the CAP for the period 2021-2027, with Commissioner Phil Hogan. – PECH: vote on a resolution objecting to a delegated act on the conservation measures for the protection of the marine environment in the North Sea which permits electric fisheries. – IMCO: discussion and vote in plenary on the inter-institutional agreement on a proportionality review prior to the adoption of a new set of rules on the professions (13-14/06 see below).
