Journalists Verena Töpper and Maria Feck grand winners of Lorenzo Natali Prize

06/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 5 June, during the European Development Days, the European Commission revealed the winners of the Lorenzo Natali Prize 2018 which recognises the contribution of journalists to sustainable development (see EUROPE 11954). This year’s grand winners are Verena Töpper and Maria Feck of German weekly Der Spiegel for their multimedia report “Blood sisters”, which shed light on the exorbitant cost in Kenya of sanitary products causing girls to miss...
