06/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 5 June, the European Confederation of Maize Production (CEPM) criticised proposals on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), fearing the ultimate renationalisation of the policy (see EUROPE 12033 and 12032). The CEPM organised the first European maize congress in Brussels. It “also denounces the reinforcement of constraints … which is likely to further strain the competitiveness of a European sector already undermined on international markets”....
