Parliament adopts legislative initiative to tackle odometer tampering

31/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – MEPs meeting at their plenary session on Thursday 31 May strongly adopted (577 votes for, 32 against, 19 abstentions), the legislative report drafted by Ismail Ertug (S&D, Germany) for tackling odometer tampering. This report had already obtained the almost unanimous support from Parliament's transport committee on 25 April last (see EUROPE 12009).
