In a judgement returned on Thursday 31 May (case T-770/16), the General Court of the EU (EGC) ruled that the hefty fines handed down by the bureau of the European Parliament to MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke (unattached, Poland) were unlawful due to the absence of hindrance or disturbance to the work of the Parliament.
