Condemning the Iranian authorities' imprisonment of dual nationality citizens (with both Iranian nationality and that of an EU member state), after unfair trials and confessions extracted under torture, the European Parliament called on Thursday 31 May for these prisoners' immediate and unconditional release, or for them to be re-tried in respect of international standards.
