30/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – The first hearing on the 'Facebook/Cambridge Analytica' affair will take place on Monday 4 June between 5.30pm and 8pm at Parliament's committee on civil liberties, its chair, Claude Moraes (S&D, Luxembourg), has announced. The key guest will be the whistleblower behind the scandal, Christopher Wylie, former Cambridge Analytica employee. It will also be attended, to clarify the facts and answer the MEPs' questions, by former Facebook employee Sandy Parakilas, Guardian journalist Carole Cadwalladr and Elizabeth Denham, the British Information Commissioner. The coordinators of the political groups decided to base this first hearing around the context of the affair, before going on to discuss the consequences and, finally, possible solutions, at two further hearings currently scheduled for 25 June and 2 July.
