Shortcomings highlighted in Indian fisheries products control system

15/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – An EU Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) report published on 8 May has revealed that there are shortcomings in the Indian official control system for fisheries products exported to the EU. The FVO states that the official control system currently in place should be capable of providing adequate assurance that such exports meet many of the requirements set out in the EU health certificate.
