Following Sargsyan's resignation, EU underlines need to resolve crisis swiftly and peacefully

24/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 23 April, a spokesperson for the European External Action Service said the EU takes "note of the resignation of Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan".  Sargsyan's resignation was demanded by thousands of protesters and came a few hours after the release of his main opponent, Nikol Pashinyan.  "It remains imperative that the current situation is resolved swiftly and peacefully.  A national dialogue involving all political stakeholders remains crucial",...
