Council discussions on reform of right of asylum in EU focus on states in times of crisis

The “Friends of the Presidency” (SCIFA), the format chosen by the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU to take forward the reform of the European asylum system, will continue its consideration of the last three chapters (chapters 6 to 9) of the proposal revising the so-called Dublin regulation from Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 April, before member state ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) again assess progress made on Wednesday 2 May.
