European Parliament prepares proposals to make EU trade policy fairer and more effective

On Tuesday 24 April, the European Parliament's international trade committee adopted (with 33 votes in favour, two against and one abstention) a draft resolution put together by Tokia Saïfi (EPP, France) on the implementation of the EU's trade policy since the launch of the trade strategy adopted by the current European Commission in October 2015 (see EUROPE 11410).
