Leaders call on Turkey to immediately cease its 'unlawful action' in the eastern Mediterranean and Aegean Sea

On Thursday 22 March, Europe’s leaders firmly condemned sustained ‘unlawful action’ by Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea, stressing their full and complete solidarity with Cyprus and Greece.

The conductions document notes that the European Summit called on Turkey as a matter of urgency to end its action and respect the sovereign rights of Cyprus to explore and use its natural resources in line with EU and international law.
