13/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 March, Jean-Paul Denanot (S&D, France) announced that he had just tendered his resignation at the European Parliament, which is expected to be effective before the summer. The outgoing MEP explained this decision by his intention of allowing the individual who will replace him in his position, Karine Gloanec-Maurin, to hold the position for a year ahead of the forthcoming European elections of 2019.
