Parliament gives green light to two requests for Globalisation Adjustment Fund

01/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 1 March, the European Parliament gave the green light for activating the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund to the tune of €2.13 million as assistance for 900 Ericsson employees in Sweden and €720,000 for around 300 textile workers in Spain. The objective is to help the redundant workers get back on the labour market again. Since 2014, Ericsson has suffered from competition in Asia and has closed three companies and several production lines....
