Franck Proust wishes to add third level of opinion to European framework on screening of foreign investments

The European Parliament’s rapporteur on the planned Community framework for the screening of foreign direct investments (FDI) of third countries in the EU, Franck Proust, is to present his report and amendments to the proposal tabled by the European Commission in September 2017 (see EUROPE 11862) to the committee on international trade at its session of 21 and 22 March, his team confirmed on Thursday 1 March.
