Polish national Zdzisław Krasnodębsk is new vice-president of European Parliament

01/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 1 March, the European Parliament elected Polish member of the ECR Group, Zdzisław Krasnodębsk, vice-president of European Parliament with 276 votes in favour of his appointment.  He is to replace Ryszard Czarnecki, a Polish MEP from the same group, who was involved in a controversy with his EPP Group compatriot, Róża Thun.  Czarnecki was obliged to abandon his post as European Parliament vice-president after describing Thun...
