European Parliament's concerns about US trade defence in Spanish olives case
Brussels, 09/02/2018 (Agence Europe)

The anti-subsidy and anti-dumping investigations launched in 2017 by the USA into its imports of olives from Spain have roused strong concerns at the European Parliament where, in a written question to the Commission on 25 January, the chairs of the Parliament's agriculture committee, Czesław Adam Siekierski (EPP, Poland), and international trade committee, Bernd Lange (S&D, Germany), spoke out about an attack on the EU's agricultural support under its Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
