In a recent policy paper published on Thursday 1 February, the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) set out its vision for a strengthened link between the European Semester budgetary process and European cohesion policy.
The CPMR hopes to prevent structural reforms supported by cohesion policy in the next budgetary cycle from being conducted outside cohesion objectives. He therefore calls for the reforms in question to systematically comprise a territorial dimension.
