Member states accused of opacity over black list of tax havens

As anticipated, the European list of non-cooperative jurisdictions in taxation matters drawn up at the end of 2017 was shortened by eight states (Barbados, Grenada, South Korea, Macao, Mongolia, Panama, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates), at the meeting of the European finance ministers on Tuesday 23 January (see EUROPE 11939 and 11919).
