Ekaterina Zaharieva says much more must be done for Western Balkans

On Tuesday 23 January, Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva warned that the EU should do more for the six Western Balkans countries (Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia).

"Much more needs to be done for the Western Balkans.  That's where influences are playing out.  We are not involved enough with the Western Balkans.  If we are not there, other will be pleased to occupy the area", she said during a hearing on...
