Rule of law report published by MEPs

12/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 12 January, MEPs who made a trip to study the rule of law in Malta following the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia published their report (see EUROPE 11905).  According to the European Parliament's Greens/EFA Group, the report gives details of a series of shortfalls noted on the rule of law, and calls for an active response from the EU under the so-called Article 7 procedure of the Treaty.  "The European Commission should investigate...
