28/11/2017 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament’s environment committee gave the go-ahead on Tuesday 28 November to conclusion, on behalf of the EU, of the provisional agreement linking the EU emissions trading scheme (ETS), a market-based, cost-effective instrument designed to tackle climate change, and the corresponding Swiss scheme.
