In SatCab arena, Parliament shifting to positive list on country of origin principle

There are now just a few days to go until the European Parliament’s legal affairs committee vote on cross-border access to TV and radio emissions broadcast on the Internet (SatCab).

During the meeting in preparation of the vote, on Monday 13 November, the EPP and ECR groups circulated a range of alternative compromises (see EUROPE 11898). The rapporteur Tiemo Wölken (S&D, Germany), had promised to present new proposals in view of the legal affairs vote on 21 November.
