Commission envisages budget reduction of up to 30% for future regional and social policy

The European Commission is examining a number of different budget reduction scenarios for the next European cohesion policy and social and employment fields. According to documents consulted by EUROPE on Thursday 9 November, reductions could be as much as 30% compared to the current 2014-2020 budget.
