Trade unions oppose Commission's mobility package

09/11/2017 (Agence Europe) – The European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) opposes the European Commission’s proposals for bus, coach and combined travel unveiled in the second mobility package on Wednesday 8 November (see EUROPE 11900) since they could have a negative impact on working conditions.  The ETF feels that the bus and coach legislation could lead to a significant drop in prices, increased working time and undeclared work.  As for the proposal on combined transport,...
