European operators' relative underuse of arrangements in new EU trade agreements

The European Commission's first report on implementing EU trade agreements was published on Thursday 9 November and shows tangible use in terms of export, but reveals European operators' relative underuse of the new agreements' arrangements.

Overall, the implementation of the free trade agreements concluded by the EU have resulted in increases in EU exports – the most significant of these being to Mexico (+416% since 2000), Chile (+170% since 2003), South Korea (+59% since 2011) and...
