In face of criticism, Danièle Nouy admits that addendum to ECB's guidelines on non-performing loans needs to be reworded

With criticism continuing to mount over the draft addendum to the European Central Bank (ECB) guidelines on the provisioning of non-performing loans (NPL), the chair of the monetary institution's Single Supervisory Board, Danièle Nouy, appeared before the MEPs of the committee on economic and monetary affairs (ECON) on Thursday 9 November.

“Opinions differ greatly, which leads me to consider that the wording of the document could be better”, Nouy admitted after the discussions.
