Transatlantic agreement seeking to facilitate trading in derivatives

13/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reached an agreement on Friday 13 October, which will help facilitate deals in financial derivatives. The two organisations agreed “a common approach” so that the Europeans would continue concluding certain deals in financial derivatives on trading platforms regulated in the US.
