Luxembourg and Czech Republic face Court proceedings over question of free movement of workers

Luxembourg and the Czech Republic will have to explain to the European Court Justice (ECJ) why they have not fully transposed the directive facilitating the exercise of mobile workers’ rights in the European Union (directive 2014/54/EU) into national law.

This directive has been in force since May 2015 and makes it incumbent on member states to appoint a body in charge of promoting equal treatment, providing assistance to mobile workers in the exercise of their rights and guaranteed access...
