Confidential positions of nine member states on e-privacy reform

The EU member states and MEPs appear divided about what modalities should apply to the future European framework for protecting private life online. This was revealed in a working paper dated 30 June, of which EUROPE has obtained a copy. This document includes the amendments suggested by the Hungarian, Finnish, Croatian, Danish, Portuguese, Belgian, Latvian, French and Spanish delegations.
