EIB loan of €300 million to modernise electricity network in Netherlands

24/07/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 21 July, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a €300 million loan agreement with the Dutch electricity grid operator Alliander to finance certain parts of the update and expansion of the distribution network used by Alliander’s subsidiary, Liander, as a means of distributing electricity to customers. The investment programme is expected to be finished by the end of 2018. (EH)
