At the end of an informal meeting in Brussels with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini on Monday 3 July, Serbian and Kosovan Presidents Aleksandar Vučić and Hashim Thaçi agreed to work on "a new phase of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina for normalisation of relations and reconciliation", a spokesperson from the European External Action Service (EEAS) stated.
EEAS spokesperson Maja Kocijancic said that "the two parties will define, under the facilitation of the EU, the content and format of the future dialogue". Vučić told press that these preparations should take "a month and a half". The dialogue may continue at presidential level, Serbia's online media outlet B92 stated, with Vučić deeming it "necessary to talk about future relations more seriously and courageously".
Vučić and Thaçi also agreed on the importance of immediately enforcing the bilateral agreements that have already been concluded. (Original version in French by Camille-Cerise Gessant)
