European Commission proposes use of Globalisation Adjustment Fund to help Finland

21/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 21 June, the European Commission proposed using the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund worth €3.5 million to help 1,248 Finnish workers at Microsoft Mobile Oy find a new job. Together with national co-financing, the aid programme is expected to total €5.8 million. The European Parliament and Council now have to give the go-ahead. (PH)
