Court invited to uphold General Court judgment rejecting registration of the trademark Cactus of Peace

On Wednesday 17 May, Advocate General Nils Wahl recommended that the Court of Justice of the EU uphold the judgment of the General Court of the EU (EGC) stating that the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) may not register the trademark Cactus of Peace/Cactus de la Paz for certain categories of products and services (case C-501/15).
