Brussels, 17/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – In Strasbourg on Wednesday 17 May, the European Parliament approved the decision to mobilise €2.6 million under the EGF (European Globalisation Adjustment Fund) following the redundancies, in Finland, of 945 workers from Nokia and three other companies operating in the sector of the manufacture of IT, electronic and optical products (see EUROPE 11788). The aid will be used to help 821 redundant workers back into work. (LC)
