Speaker of Tunisian Parliament reiterates his call to European Parliament for a Marshall Plan

The Speaker of the Tunisian Assembly of the People's Representatives (ARP), Mohamed Ennaceur, visited the European Parliament on Tuesday 2 May and called on the EU member countries to keep their promises to Tunisia.

Ennaceur also reiterated his position to MEPs (after already announcing this in September 2016) of supporting the idea of a "Marshall Plan" for Tunisia and the conversion of the country's debt into investments (see EUROPE 11355).  He "appealed for more support for Tunisia...
