03/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – European Commission Vice-President with responsibility for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will bring the second Energy Union tour to Belgium on Thursday 4 May. He will, firstly, hold a ministerial meeting with the Belgian federal and regional energy ministers at which Belgium’s long-term energy and climate vision will be discussed. He will then take part in a debate in the Federal Parliament with members of the different regional parliaments and Belgian civil society stakeholders on the implementation of the EU’s 2030 energy and climate framework, Energy Union governance and the Commission’s package of clean energy measures. The commissioner will lastly take part in a citizens’ dialogue in Antwerp on how to finance smart cities. (EH)
