By request of the United Kingdom, on the grounds of a snap general election on 8 June in the country, the General Affairs Council of the EU did not adopt the regulation on the mid-term revision of the multi-annual financial framework (MFF) 2014-2020 on Tuesday 25 April, as initially planned.
No date has been put forward for the Council's final vote on this dossier, which requires unanimity. The UK had previously said that it would abstain.
