06/04/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 6 April, the Court of Justice of the EU ruled that it is not discrimination if a bank requires a person born outside the EU to provide a passport or other proof of identity as well as his or her driving licence. This judgement relates to a case (C-668/15) concerning Denmark, where driving licences state the country of birth, but not the nationality of the holder. (JK)
