The end of roaming charges on 15 June 2017 is fast approaching and consumers who have a subscription in another member state will no longer have to pay roaming charges. This situation would not be possible without the new rules on retail roaming markets. These were ratified on 6 April by the European Parliament. It is now up to the Council to do likewise for these rules to be adopted.
