ESA publishes high-resolution shot of Rome to mark 60th anniversary of Treaty of Rome

24/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – To mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the European Space Agency (ESA) published a high-resolution photograph (10 m) of the city of Rome and surrounding area on Friday 24 March, in the framework of its 'Earth from space' video programme. More specifically, the photograph was taken by the satellite Sentinel 2A of the Copernicus programme on 17 January 2016.
