Instead of the partial moratorium imposed in 2013 on the use of bee-harming pesticides, the European Commission is proposing a total ban on the use in fields of the three most dangerous neonicotinoid pesticides, according to a leaked document seen by the British newspaper The Guardian and commended by Greenpeace on Thursday 23 March.
