Lanzarote Committee flags up Hungarian law exposing minor migrants to risk of sexual abuse

In a letter to the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán, published on Friday 24 March, Claude Janizzi, the President of the Lanzarote Committee of the Council of Europe, expresses concerns at the possibility that a Hungarian law tightening up border control procedures may have negative repercussions for the implementation of the Convention of Lanzarote, of which Hungary is a signatory.
